Details on the Pay It Forward Tour

The 2009 Pay It Forward Tour is from March 6th - March 15th. Our stops are Spooner, WI; Rockford, IL; Hannibal, MO; Muskogee, OK; Katy, TX; and San Antonio, TX.

The cost of the Pay It Forward Tour

The cost of the tour is $425, which includes two shirts, two meals a day, transportation, lodging and two nights in a hotel, not to mention the trip of a lifetime!  The only expenses a participant is expected to incur are expenses for one meal a day and shopping money. We encourage students to try to fundraise by asking family members, local businesses, or doing things like bake sales or rummage sales.

About STLF.

Our mission statement is to reveal leadership through service, relationships, and action. We currently are partnered with Americorps, and STLF also meets the standards of the charity review council. Besides Americorps, Bemidji State University's STLF chapter has a chance to have their own partner. Donations to the Bemidji State University Pay It Forward tour will help the cost of the tour stay at $425. Donations of $1000 or more will be considered for our partners and will be featured on our shirt. Also, for people really interested in donating, not just to Bemidji but to all Pay It Forward tours, visit www.stlf.net.

Some information you didn't know is that STLF is entirely student-run. The four creators of STLF are currently under 25 years old, and besides these individuals - there are no people involved in STLF that aren't in college, high school, or middle school.
